Letter from Angel Weis

Hi! My name is Angel Weis, I am a disabled mother with a rare disability. I am the first in the USA diagnosed with Oral-Facial-Digitalus Syndrome Type I. My baby pictures are in medical books all over USA and European Countries. My daughter is also disabled with the same rare disability. My daughter is the best gift I have, but I have many other gifts including: I am a volunteer instructor at The Club of Arts and I love teaching and substituting when they need me. I am also an artist and I can do almost every medium of art. Art is my passion. I love coming to TCOA to help and encourage all disabled people to know that we’re capable of doing anything we put our minds to.

The Club of Arts is a blessing for many disabled people, it is a place where we can come and learn to do art. It is a place where we can come and feel free to communicate our feelings and who we are through art. The Club of Arts is a place where we meet, socialize, and make friends. This place helps guide all disabled people to know we are capable and ABLE to do anything we put our minds, hearts, and our dreams towards.

I am also on the TCOA Board and I help give ideas for disabled people and I also strive to speak for every disabled student that cannot speak for themselves.

The Give! Campaign has given us an opportunity to help disabled people enjoy learning and having new experiences with the artistic talent in our community. The Give Campaign supports The Club of Arts, where disabled people can feel creative, and speak and express themselves, through art.

Thank you for all of your support.

Sincerely,

Angel Weis
